Frozen product storage warehouses are called cold storages at temperatures between -15°C and -25°C, where products whose core temperatures are reduced to -18°C in a short time by freezing method.
The storage times of the products to be stored in the frozen storage warehouses vary according to the quality of the product and the storage period. The products stored in the warehouses whose temperature is adjusted considering the storage temperature of the stored products will be preserved for a long time without the risk of deterioration during their storage period.

If the foods are frozen in accordance with the freezing principles, they can be stored in frozen product storage tanks at -17.77°C (0°F) without time limit. If the freezing and frozen product storage conditions are not met, the foodstuff may deteriorate and lose its flavor and natural texture. The rate of freezing of the nutrient is also important. Foods that are frozen very quickly will last longer than those that are frozen slowly. Because fast freezing prevents ice crystals from forming. Ice crystals do not form on the surface of quick-frozen fruits. If the formation of ice crystals is not prevented, the cell wall of the fruit may rupture.
